Our 2nd Annual TREEkun Olam was a huge success! Over 500 members of our community, including nearly 400 students and 150 faculty, staff, and volunteers, planted 39 trees in River Park. This year, Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall joined us for the planting and said it was "the largest group of students I've ever seen gather for a tree planting!"

TREEkun Olam is our community-wide project that celebrates our values of Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Gemilut Hasadim (doing good and kind deeds), and Tzedakah (giving to others). With our partner, TreeUtah, we visit an area in need of greater tree canopy and plant trees that will not only immediately impact our climate and community, but also provide shade and beauty for future generations.
