A Culture of Giving

Everywhere you look at McGillis, you see demonstrations of philanthropy. From the building we inhabit, to the names on plaques, bricks, and doorways, the impact of philanthropy is seen and felt by all Magpies.

Philanthropic support is critical to our success and strengthens all aspects of the McGillis experience. We strive to cultivate a community of teaching and learning that creates curious, kind, and courageous learners and leaders. Philanthropic giving allows us to expand and advance programs that enrich our community and make McGillis the kehilah (community) that lives in the hearts of so many long after they leave our campus.

More than 30 years ago, our founders only imagined what The McGillis School would become. We stand proudly today as a place where everyone, from teacher to student to parent, feels a sense of belonging. It is a school that feeds the soul, stimulates the mind, and encourages us to look outside ourselves and outside the classroom for learning and inspiration.

Though much has changed since our humble beginnings at the JCC and Congregation Kol Ami, what remains is the positive impact philanthropy has on our ability to deliver our mission and prepare our students for a lifetime committed to repairing the world.

Thank you for your investment in an educational experience like no other.
