Bio:
Jill, a native of Utah, has been living and working as an artist internationally for the past 15 years. Some of the places she lived include Egypt, Zimbabwe, Canada, and Guatemala. She received her BFA from Utah State University and her MFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design. She has given many lectures, taught workshops, and demonstrated her art as a visiting artist to a variety of organizations and schools, including a position as an elementary art teacher at Colegio Maya, the top international school in Guatemala. Jill’s goal is to help her students not only develop technical skills but also experience the power that art holds as a viable means of communication and expression. Jill is excited to be back in Utah. She enjoys spending time in the mountains with her three kids and roller-skating with a local skate organization.
