Jessie's teaching journey began in the suburbs of New York City and then continued overseas at American School of The Hague (ASH), the International School of Kenya (ISK), and most recently the Kaohsiung American School (KAS) in Taiwan. Through his international school experience, Jessie has focused on creating more inclusive learning environments for students with learning differences, as well as providing safe spaces for children to discover and explore their identities.

When he's not at McGillis, Jessie is often out walking or hiking with his dogs, Buddy and Lizzy. You may see him riding his bike around downtown Salt Lake City, visiting Three Pines Coffee or Rose Establishment (his current favorites), and trying out other new places to eat - he welcomes any and all suggestions of places he should try!
