What do you think makes McGillis different?
The space is given to the students for them to grow and critically think on their own.
Which McGillis value do you most appreciate?
The focus on repairing the world. As someone who is very much aware of the issues that humans face on a global scale, I appreciate educating young minds on how we can best address and understand these problems.
What are you currently reading?

What is your superpower? Why?
My superpower is patience. When you work with kids you know that to them time can be moving faster or slower depending on where they are in that moment. Observing this has allowed me to stay grounded when communicating with them and other people. Because I have yet to find an issue that cannot be solved with time and calm speech.
What is your favorite AfterSchool tradition?
My favorite tradition is having the different age groups contribute to a single art piece that is placed somewhere in the school for all to see.
