The defining moment that led to your career in education:
I have always enjoyed the company of children, and continue to be awed by the potential that each child holds. I cannot recall a specific moment that led me to a career in education, but more likely want to pay forward my happy childhood, and value of curiosity, mess, creativity, and learning.

What is a powerful moment you experienced at school?
Getting an excellent Nordic ski lesson from my former student was powerful. He was so kind, patient, and supportive. He demonstrated the motions at least 20 times. He never laughed at me or gave up on me. He was encouraging and sweet. It was cool!
