Bio:Darren joined McGillis as our PE teacher for grades 4-8 two years ago when students returned to regular classes after Covid. Darren has been a humanities teacher, a PE teacher, athletic director, coach, and more during his 30+ years of teaching. Prior to arriving at McGillis, he enjoyed a career teaching in international schools around the world with stops in Canada, Pakistan, Spain, Lebanon, Dominican Republic, Malaysia, Hong Kong and China. Darren moved from Beijing to Utah 6 years ago with his wife, Pam and they have greatly enjoyed rediscovering golfing skiing, hiking, and camping, especially during the pandemic. They greatly enjoy living and working in Utah as there are so many beautiful locales witin the state.
