The core intentions and lessons of the holiday are what led me to create a new Rosh Hashanah experience for the McGillis community.
Our community is full of people just like you—parents who hold unwavering belief in their child's opportunity to repair the world.
We cultivate a community that is diverse, dynamic, and multifaceted. It includes students and faculty, our McGillis families and partners, and all who we impact. Our Kehilah is tended, cultivated, and constructed. We will remain rooted in Jewish values and traditions, and yet, we are continually open to change that builds on our solid academic and ethical foundation. We believe that a diverse and inclusive community is essential to a rich educational experience that prepares our students to interact in an increasingly interconnected world.
I am pleased to welcome Jen Merino to our Kehilah! Jen is joining McGillis as our Health Specialist effective Tuesday, September 1.
Please join us in welcoming Jackson Bellaimey, Cathleen Wilkes, Lisa Williams, to our kehilah!
The differences between a crowd and a community, to me, are simple on the surface but profound when we slow down and go deeper.
The Jewish value of Derech Eretz can be literally translated as "the way/road on the land."
