Hal J. Pos Memorial Scholarship

The Hal J. Pos Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 to honor the life of Hal Pos, longtime McGillis Trustee and father of Hannah, Class of 2012. His love for McGillis was unmistakable, and his dedication to advancing the School’s mission was constant. He embodied the School’s values throughout his life. He believed in the positive impact of a McGillis education and wanted as many children as possible to experience it.

This full-tuition scholarship will be awarded to a student who demonstrates financial need and, like Hal, embodies the values of the School. Priority will be given to students from underrepresented backgrounds and will support the student throughout their time at McGillis.
