Bio:

I’ve been fortunate to teach learners of all ages, both nationally and internationally, and those experiences shaped my belief that every student deserves to feel known, challenged, and supported. My passion for education eventually brought me into leadership, where I find joy in building strong relationships with students, families, and teachers. Outside of school, I love spending time with my husband, our toddler, and our two dogs—usually outdoors on a trail or discovering new places in Utah.

 

Favorite McGillis Lunch:

They are all delicious! I am still picking my favorite.

 

Books I love:

Some of my all-time favorite books are A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Little Women, and Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier. These stories first sparked my love of reading and continue to hold a special place in my heart.

 

The McGillis value that means the most to me:

The McGillis value that resonates most with me is kehilah. I believe the heart of education lies in the relationships we build with students, families, and colleagues, and that true learning happens when people feel a sense of belonging. Kehilah reflects what I value most: connection, collaboration, and growing together.
