Bio:

I'm originally from Utah, but I've also lived in DC, Egypt, Zimbabwe, and Guatemala, experiences that continue to shape my worldview and creative practice. I'm a professional artist who regularly exhibits my work, and I find my greatest joy either in my studio or out in the garden. I am deeply committed to inclusion and using art as a powerful tool for empowerment and social engagement. I believe in the transformative power of creativity and love helping students discover their own artistic voice.

The McGillis value that means the most to me:

The McGillis value that means the most to me is kehilah. I believe that meaningful learning and personal growth happen when we feel connected, seen, and supported. Whether in the art studio or out in the world, I strive to create inclusive spaces where everyone feels a sense of belonging. Community to me means lifting each other up, celebrating our differences, and working together to make something greater than we could alone.
