Bio:
Over the course of my career, I have worked in every grade level from Pre-K through High School. I love working with kids of all ages as every age is fun for different reasons. Outside of school I enjoy reading and visiting my local public library. When I'm not reading I enjoy hiking in our beautiful mountains.

The McGillis value that means the most to me:
The McGillis value that means the most to me is kehilah. Community was what I was looking for when searching for the right Kindergarten for my son. We found that as a parent and a student in the little things like holding the door open for the people behind you. We also found it in the loving attention and acceptance the students were given by the adults in the building. Having experienced this I knew I wanted to work here. I love cultivating community with my students and colleagues. I also appreciate what my son has learned about belonging that he has taken with him on his adventures beyond McGillis.
