Education:

BA in English Literature from The University of Utah

Bio:

1st Grade at The McGillis School is full of joyful energy, curiosity, and discovery, and I love being a part of it! Whether we're exploring the canyons, hatching chicks, or tackling the monkey bars for the first time, every day brings something new and exciting. Outside of the classroom, I can usually be found driving my teenagers, cheering on the sidelines of soccer games, traveling with my family, and walking my big, loveable dog.

Favorite McGillis Lunch:

Veggie Hummus Sandwich

Books I love:

How can I choose just one? The Count of Monte Cristo. A Confederacy of Dunces. To Kill of Mockingbird. A Prayer for Owen Meany and so, so many more!

The McGillis value that means the most to me:

Limud L'Shma: Learning for the Sake of Learning. Curiosity and learning don't begin and end in the classroom - they're what make life rich, meaningful, and exciting. I never want to stop wondering, questioning, or exploring. My hope is that our students leave with that same lifelong passion for discovery within them.
