Ethics in Action: Tsoup for Tsunami
A big THANK YOU to all of you for your support of the Tsoup fundraiser Wednesday, March 30th!
We had 450-500 people in attendance and raised $3536.14!
A SPECIAL THANKS goes to the kitchen and custodial staff - Julio, Laura, Katherine, and Bridget (and Bob!) for their generous donation of time, work, and food prep. Ted Sweetland for the preparation of the wonderful Thai Noodle soup. To the House of Bread for their great bread.
To Josh Goldberg, Kirsten Dodge, the Parents Association, and Middle School students for providing organization and support.
AND...to the group of 4th grade girls who sold some of their own books and jewelry and raised several hundred dollars as well!
This was a wonderful community event and fundraiser to send funds to the Red Cross to assist those who are so distressed and displaced in Japan by the recent earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear plant meltdown.
