Summer Program
Welcome to the second year of The McGillis School Summer Learning Camps!
This year we are offering a variety of options for McGillis family and friends with students currently in grades Kindergarten through Eight.
We are offering Lower School Learning Theme Camps and Sport-A-Day Camps for three weeks in June and three weeks at the end of July through August 10th. You may choose a morning half-day camp, an afternoon half-day camp, or an all day camp. Morning drop-off begins at 8:00 A.M. with the morning session times from 8:30-11:30 A.M. Lunchtime is 11:30 A.M.-12:15 P.M. (please provide your own lunch), with our afternoon session following from 12:15-3:15 P.M. There will be complementary AfterCamp Care until 6 P.M. for our registered all day and afternoon camp participants.
Middle School Camps are offered the same weeks (except June 11-16) with additional backpacking trips and a fly fishing camp. We will also be offering a Fantastic Flying Machines camp in partnership with The Tracy Aviary in July for our 4th through 8th grade students! Click here to learn more about The Tracy Aviary.
And last, but not least, we are offering Kindergarten, Here I Come! for our newest McGillis students for the weeks of July 20th and August 6th, from 8:30 A.M. to 12:15 P.M.
The Registration Forms for The McGillis Summer Learning Camps should be received by May 1st, accompanied by a deposit of one week's tuition.
Camps will be filled on a first come, first served basis, and parents will be notified if a course must be cancelled because there are not enough registered participants. Any deposits received will be refunded in full should a course be cancelled by The School.
McGillis faculty and staff are leading our programs unless noted in the catalog. The camps will be held rain or shine, and daily activities may be modified due to inclement weather. Camps may require transportation in McGillis buses, rental vehicles, or private cars.
